Compressed Air Dryers/Refrigerated Air Dryers are used by the manufacturing industries to dry their pneumatic systems thereby allowing moisture free Air to tools and equipment. An Air Compressor discharges air into an Air Dryer where the air is conditioned through the process of Refrigeration thereafter moisture is removed from the air. The conditioned air is moved to a storage tank or tanks and the dehumidification or condensate water remains in bottom of the heat exchanger. The accumulated water in the heat exchanger can be drained manually periodically or by automated drainage control. Compressed Air Dryers are expected to be maintained periodically for proper operation.
